Founded in 2012 in the Texas Hill Country. A team with deep expertise in education funding, program design, and delivery — working across Texas and beyond.
Most organisations can get a grant written. Fewer can turn that grant into a program that actually runs. Hill Country Education was founded to do both — and to stay through the full process until outcomes are real.
We saw the same problem repeating across education and workforce organisations: funding, design, and delivery sat in silos. Programs launched late, ran poorly, or failed to demonstrate impact. The organisations doing the most important work were the ones most likely to fall through the cracks.
Hill Country Education was built to be the partner that stays. We take on a limited number of clients at a time — by design. That keeps our attention focused and our work quality consistent.
Founded in the Texas Hill Country with a mission to make education programs work — not just get funded.
Dr. Melissa Sadler-Nitu has spent more than two decades working at the intersection of workforce development, EdTech, and education consulting. She also serves as General Manager and Head of Sales for JobReady by Hidden Talent, a workforce technology platform supporting job seekers, training providers, and workforce boards with assessments, career planning tools, and labor market intelligence. Her background includes prior leadership with SERCO Inc. and service on the Workforce Solutions Alamo board.

Leyla Ismaily helps organisations communicate the value of their work to the people who matter most — funders, partners, employers, policymakers, and the communities they serve. Over the past decade, she has worked with startups, nonprofits, education providers, and mission-driven organisations across Africa, Australia, Europe, and North America.
Her experience spans workforce development, education, financial services, technology, and community impact initiatives. She focuses on turning complex programs, outcomes, and ideas into stories that people can understand, support, and act on.
At Hill Country Education, Leyla supports clients with impact storytelling, case studies, stakeholder communications, thought leadership, and messaging that helps programs earn trust, build partnerships, and demonstrate results.
Support spans the full process — from funding application to program execution and outcome reporting.
Plans translate into working programs. We stay until the work is done, not just until the proposal is submitted.
Clients stay engaged over time. Work builds on itself. Results compound across funding cycles.
Funding connects directly to program outcomes. No disconnect between the proposal and what actually gets delivered.
